The artist Bill Drummond (of KLF fame) recorded a filmed interview with JJ Adams at the Manchester Buy Art Fair preview evening, initially intending to just discuss art, both artists ended up finding so much in common they ended up chatting as though they had known each other for years, both had spent time in South Africa and both having had ministers as fathers. Bill usually turns the tables and interviews journalists instead of being interviewed, the last artist interviewed by Bill was Yoko Ono many years ago and he felt it was time to interview another artist. As JJ put it, "Bill Drummond is an incredibly inspiring artist, spend a few mintues with him and you'll feel that you want to the change the world" The filmed interview between the two artists will be posted shortly.
